| \»When I started to think about my future education a couple of years ago, I considered two options – the USA and England. In my opinion, England offers a very strong classical academic education in subjects, such as Economics. Besides, I have always admired English culture and history. I believe that an important reason for studying in the UK, besides the quality of education, is the opportunity to learn the culture of this country. London is one of the greatest cities in the world with a multicultural environment. Many famous museums and tourist attractions are located here. These factors make it a very interesting place to study. Bellerbys London offers a high quality of education. It is located in a very nice area that has good connections with the centre of London. The building is modern and very convenient. Another thing I like about the college is the international community. Students come from all over the world, which makes the environment at Bellerbys very friendly. London has become my second favourite city after my hometown, Almaty. There are a lot of interesting places to visit here. A nice thing about London is that it is very friendly, unlike most of the big cities in the world. Since the beginning of the course I have learned a lot of new things. For instance, I have never studied Economics or Business before. Now they are my favourite subjects, which I really enjoy. The teachers put a lot of effort in making the lessons interesting and useful for everyone. Staff at Bellerbys are very friendly and helpful. When I first came to London, a lot of things were unfamiliar for me, and the staff always gave me useful advice. I really enjoy studying Economics. I like both, the subject and the teacher. In my opinion, economics helps to understand how the modern world works, which is especially interesting now, in times of global recession. Economics also combines different areas. In order to be good at it, you have to be able to think logically, know maths and be aware of current affairs and history. The teacher of Economics is also very good. He is a real professional and the lessons are always interesting. The subject is quite difficult but the teacher explains everything very clear and uses relevant examples. I am not living in the student residence here, I\’m living with my aunt’s family. I like it because it feels like home. To be honest, I don’t have a lot of free time. Studiyng at Bellerbys is quite hard. Also, there are a lot of extracurricular activities, in which I enjoy participating. However, on weekends I usually go to the central part of London, where I visit museums and exhibitions. I also like to walk around the centre, enjoying the architecture of London. I have made some new friends at Bellerbys. In my group, there are people from different parts of the world. It is always interesting to learn new things about other countries. I am planning to study Economics at university, which I really enjoy. I have applied to Bristol University, University of Nottingham, City University, Royal Holloway and Queen Mary. I am aiming at top universities on this list, which are Nottingham and Bristol. I have applied to these universities because they are one of the best not only in the UK, but in the world and offer a traditional English education. They have a strong academic base in social sciences.
Probably, I will go back to Kazakhstan. There is a high demand for UK universities’ graduates in my country. I would like to work for a big international company. Although I am not sure about the area of my job, a degree in Economics will give me an opportunity to work in different fields.\»
