| \»This year is the most important in my life as I am going to start my higher education at university. And Bellerbys teachers have helped me a lot with my UCAS form, with my personal statement and with my choices. Moreover they were of a great help to me as I have improved my English and many other skills like filming video clips, editing them using a professional editing software, measuring the level of aggression and so on. Frankly speaking, it was my parents’ idea to send me to study in England. And now I am very thankful for this great opportunity as I can improve my language skills and my personality. London is a great mixture of different countries and cultures. It is both modern and historical place where every person can live, form new impressions and become a part of it. What I like about city most is that it is so unexplored. I mean that it has a lot of different places that I really want to see and admire. I am not talking particularly about some museums or monuments. Here, in London Greenwich Park or small café on Piccadilly could become most memorable places in your life. The main thing that I like about Bellerbys London is that teachers here are really warm-hearted as they try to help everyone. At times I even feel that they become kind of friends to us who give us support. Actually English was always my favourite subject at school. Maybe this was the one of the main resons why I have come to study here. So now here, in Bellerbys I enjoy English lessons a lot as the teacher is really talented as she makes us interested in her subject. What is more, at times an ordinary English lessons can become a very important discussion about drugs, world credit crunch or many other topics. I live in residence not far away from college and I can proudly say that I am fully satisfied with it. People there are very kind to me and I really feel safe and protected there. When I am on my way home and I am tired and hungry I alwals know that they can cook me a delicious dinner, my clothes will be washed and my room will be cleaned if only I ask. As far as my free time is concerned I love new experiences. For these reason when I came to London I’ve decided to see as much as possible. For example, not long ago I’ve been on the ‘Mama Mia’ musical and I was greatly impressed!! Going to the opera was also a very exciting experience that I will never forget. Talking about new friends, luckily I have never felt alone or sad in Bellerbys because I was getting to know more and more people from different parts of the world like Russia, Maldives, Hong Kong, China, Spain, Georgia and so on. What I like about meeting new people and making new friends is that it is extremely interesting to compare their traditions with my country’s traditions. For instance, isn’t it fascinating to find out that in some countries people have never touched the snow or in some countries people have a snake for their dinner? I have dreamt to become a journalist since I was a child. I often imagine myself as an editor of the very popular and successful magazine or newspaper. Seeing myself as a reporter on TV is also very tempting. For all these reasons I am going to study media and communications at the university. I have chosen to apply to Warwick, Loughborough, Sheffield, Leicester and Cardiff universities. They have become my choices because of three main factors – ranking, level of students’ satisfaction and the quality of education.
After university I\’m not sure what I will do. Nowadays it is very complicated as nobody knows what is going to happen after the credit crunch will stop destroying our world. But I am very optimistic about my future and I plan to work in a newspaper or magazine as there are a lot of opportunities and I can show there my ambitions from the best side and climb the career ladder till I reach the stars.\»
