The St Bede’s Summer School story began at the Dicker in 1993 and since then, the success of our high-quality residential programmes, which are accredited by the British Council, has been unrivalled. Today, our English & Activities and Intensive English programmes attract students from all over the world. Whilst our programmes vary from centre to centre, they all share one common aim: to provide young people with the opportunity to learn English, develop their social skills, enrich their cultural awareness and have fun, while studying and living in a safe and secure environment. Over the last few years, we have made many changes to our courses to ensure the St Bede’s product remains fresh and innovative for our students, incorporating new technologies and methodologies and making sure our courses respond to the constantly changing market. As St Bede’s Summer School continues to evolve, our objective remains unchanged: to organise educational, culturally-enriching and memorable summer courses for our students.
Being part of the Summer School international community means meeting new friends from all over the world, hearing and speaking English all day, learning from qualified teachers, taking part in sports, activities and clubs, going on excursions and being cared for by staff 24 hours a day.
